2010 World's Fair in Shanghai China

While in Shanghai we were told that the World Expo (a.k.a. the World's Fair) was going on. We were able to take a day and went to check it out. It was pouring rain so we figured the crowds would be down - no not so much. We were there with about 300,000 of our closest, pushiest Chinese friends. We discovered (after waiting two hours) that going inside the different pavilions was not really worth it as what was inside was a short film about that country and a stamp with that country's logo (many were getting this in their passport).

So here are some of the different pavilions. I do not remember which one is which country for all of them.

Singapore

New Zealand

Russia

UK during the day

UK during the night

Korea

Spain

I guess you gotta have one flying saucer at each Expo

Tibet

UEA

Turkmenistan

Israel

China

The Pearl in Shanghai (not part of the Expo, but neat anyway)

Bryce Works With One Hammer

Here is Bryce performing Bryce works with hammers.

In the back you can see our new saltwater fish tank. It has 6 fish, Bryce lets them know "FISH, I'M HOME" and "GOODBYE FISH!". This has been an exciting addition to our home.

Today, while eating lunch,Bryce told me "my favorite (foods) are kale and chocolate Easter bunny." He later added mushrooms too.

Mimi and Bill's Visit

The end of February Bonnie's cousin, Mimi and husband bill, came to visit for two weeks. Did not get the pictures up sooner because we left on our trip before Mimi and Bill returned to the States. Here are a few highlights form their visit.
