Turkey Day 2009

Happy Thanksgiving.

We had a fabulous holiday. Hope that everyone enjoyed their turkey dinner.

Near The Thai-Burma Border

On day two of our trip to north-west Thailand we visited 3 Pagodas Pass. The beggining of the Burma-Thai railway. So close to Myanmar (Burma) but, not past the pole, we have seen Burma.

The Lost City

Sangkhlaburi which is close to the Burmese/Thai border holds some of Thailand's hidden treasures that most expats, tourists and even Thai nationals have never seen or knew existed. After Thailand's famous wet season each year, late November, there is a chance to dive some of the submerged temples and pagodas which are almost completely dry and visible for most of the year.
