Little Ted
Areesa received star of the week at school. She had the privilege to spend the week with the classroom pal, Little Ted. Areesa then wrote about their fun weekend together. Here are some pictures with her adventures with Little Ted.

Ahalan Fii Kuwait
We have arrived in Kuwait. We survived our first two weeks here. The 120 degree heat has not melted us yet. But, swimming daily has helped with that. We are enjoying it here in Kuwait, as usual it takes time to adjust to life in a new country. Here are a few things we have done since we arrived.
Home Sweet Home
Our court yard / soccer pitch, with some of our new friends.
Big boats on The Gulf
Science museum, I am sure we will be here a lot. They have great exhibits on lights and lasers, a huge sand play area, IMAX movies, and an aquarium.
First Day of school.
We also found and Ice Skating Rink. We liked it a lot and is an amazing reprieve on a hot summers day. Unfortunately photos are prohibited there. Just look back at the summer blog On Ice if you want to see the kids ice skate.
Looking at these pictures I am reminded how well these two get along.
Blessed, that they have each other!

Big Apple, NYC
August
8-10, Kurt and Vanessa and kids were able to join us on a quick
adventure to New York City. On our way form Cape Cod, we stopped at Jane and Nicks. We
were also able to celebrate Mateo's 2nd birthday.
From our room we had a view of Times Square and the New Years Ball. Only, we were 5 months early for that.

Top of The Rock
Lady Liberty
Running to Central Park I bumped into the LOVE sign.
Cape Cod
Cape Cod was amazing. Our friends Kurt and Vanessa and their two kids, Asher and Mateo, came in from California. We stayed in a great house on the Cape. Everyday was an adventure.
Our friends from Amman, Kayo and Andrew, also had a house on The Cape. We had time to visit with the Martins too. Here are a few pictures of Caribbean night on the farm. Mimi and Nicholas were happy to see Areesa and Bryce so soon after departing Amman.
Sea, sand and sun. What more could we ask for?
Shells and boats on Great Pond. We lost the pictures of our favorite spot, Snail Point. We made hermit crab race tracks and dug up clams. Hunted for the thousands of sea creatures in the tide pools very close to the house.

Bryce: What country are we in?
Mom: America
Bryce: Then what country does the Rainbow Flag represent?
Mt Washington and New Hampshire
So sad, we lost all the pictures from our nice camera of our entire 2 months in America. We have only a few snap shots from my iPhone. We loved NH and VT.
We rode the cog railway to the peak of Mt. Washington. We hiked from the summit down to the lake of clouds via the crawford path and the amanusic trail. Bryce was our little mountain goat. Areesa hung in there for 5 hour and 45 minutes. It was a huge accomplishment for all of us.
Of course when your in Vermont you must have some Ben and Jerry's.
We also visited Ted and Aimee. Aimee is a song bird rehabilitation specialist. Bryce and Areesa enjoyed getting to see so many breeds of birds. So many baby birds, on their way to getting better.
