Cowboy, Ninja, & Bear

Bryce likes to play Cowboy, Ninja, Bear.  A more interactive game than rock, paper, scissors.  There is a cute story, The Legend of Ninja, Cowboy, Bear, by David Bruins and Hilary Leung, of how the game came to be.  Here is Bryce in action.

Ma'in Hot Springs

It is a cold wet day in Amman about 40•.  However, a 1 hour 20 minutes drive it is sunny, and 80•.  Ma'in hosts hot spring pools and scenic waterfalls.  We ditched our rain boots for flip flops and jumped in.

New Years Picnic

Our New year has begun with back to back joint family picnics.  We enjoyed a picnic and a hike in the Scandinavian forest.  We also had the chance to see a sheep a few minutes after birth, trying to take its first steps.

Santa Tracking and Cookies

It's Christmas Eve! We decorated cookies for Santa, while enjoying the company of our close friends here in Amman.  We also tracked Santa with NORAD tracking.  This has become a Christmas Eve tradition.
