Forest Hike

Bryce and his class went to the Scandinavian Forest, to clean up trash and observe nature.  The goal was to compare living and non-living things.  The living (or once living) list was much longer.  The class gathered several bags of trash in about 20 min and had a large bag of plastic recyclables.  We also set a good example for the local school girls.  Curious what we were doing, they came over to help with the trash and asked for an extra bag, to remove the lunch trash they brought in for their picnic that day.

Great Day for a Kite

Today, we headed to the Citadel.  A famous landmark in Jordan, know for it's ancient ruins.  It is also a great open area with lots of space to run around.   Amman can get windy, which makes great kite flying weather, several people bring kites to fly on top of the hill, at the Citadel.

One of the local boys, admiring Bryce's kite, came to give it a try.
