Barossa Valley ... and Wine Tasteting

The view from the boat ... (sorry our first attempt at panaromic - a bit small).

Bonnie and Ramiro took a day trip get away, sans Bryce and Kookai. We traveled by bus to Barossa Valley to see two wineries for wine tastings. On the way there a Kangaroo jumped out in front of the bus and the driver had to slam on the brakes. Turns out Kangaroos are like deer (they are everywhere and will certainly mess up your car/bus if you hit them).

Our tour was a bit early so we went up to rock garden where we could see the valley.

Stop one (well the first intended stop) ...After we left the first winery we saw a lot of police waiting on the side of the road for something ....

A bit up the road we saw hundreds of people on motorcycles. Apparently there was a big ride to protest new regulations on motorcycles. Anyway on we went.

Stop two ... Jacob's Creek

Getting back to the roos, when we left and were on the way back to the boat, we saw a herd/pack? of kangaroos eating the grapes right off the vine ... we were sure the wineries, love the cute little buggers.
